Babcock offers Level 6 Degree Apprenticeships in England and Level 10 Graduate Apprenticeships in Scotland across a broad range of engineering, project-focused and digital disciplines. Typically lasting four to five years, these programmes combine paid employment with university study, leading to a recognised bachelor’s degree while providing the knowledge, skills and practical experience needed to build a successful career and contribute to projects that help help protect national security and support vital public infrastructure. Most roles are based in Plymouth, Bristol, Leicester and Warrington in England, and Rosyth and HM Naval Base Clyde in Scotland. Throughout their programme, apprentices receive support from line managers, mentors, university partners and training providers. They also benefit from Babcock’s Apprentice Development Programme, which includes workshops and masterclasses covering wellbeing, communication, leadership and performance psychology. After completing their programme, apprentices can continue their development through Babcock’s Role Framework, with clear career pathways and opportunities to progress professionally and work towards industry-recognised accreditation or chartership.
