At E.ON, they are creating a better tomorrow. Millions of customers choose to get their energy from E.ON, making them one of the leading energy providers in the UK. They employ more than 10,000 people here in the UK, with over 75,000 across Europe. E.ON offers degree apprenticeships across numerous subject areas including Accountancy and taxation, Digital Marketing, Digital Technology, Project Management and Engineering. Roles are open to applicants from all subject backgrounds, although some programmes do have specific subject requirements for the course. E.ON’s degree apprenticeship programmes are primarily based at the Nottingham city centre office, with travel to different sites and European locations offered as part of the programme. During the four or five year programme with E.ON, degree apprentices work on a number of placements across the business, which link in with their academic work and offer the opportunity to develop key skills and personal interests in the energy industry, whilst building up a network of people from across the business. The E.ON degree apprentices generally work four days a week in the office or at home and then spend one day a week studying for their degree at the university. Throughout the time on the programme, degree apprentices are fully supported at E.ON by the early talent team, a programme business lead, a business mentor and a dedicated buddy from a previous degree apprenticeship scheme, as well as gaining the support they need from the university. E.ON is passionate about helping people at the start of their career to discover their strengths, develop and progress within the company. By joining, degree apprentices will play a key role in helping to build a better future for everyone.
